POPS
Built by Main Iron Works in Houma, LA in 1961. The Pops has proven itself as areal workhorse on jobs through the years. It is a coastal Model Bow Tug that can work offshore as well as traveling the ICW. It worked a total nine-month Beach Restoration job in 2004 in Delaware starting on the southern end of the beach and working north to Rehoboth and Dewey Beach tending Hopper Dredges for GLD&D. It has made several 16-day tows in the ICW from Philadelphia, PA to different locations in Southern FL.
In October 2020 the POPS underwent its Subchapter M audit and received a United States Coast Guard Certificate of Inspection.
